She's the weird owner of the strange shop. Yuuko is eccentric, sarcastic, bossy, mysterious, philosopher, wise, has a bizarre sense of humor. She smokes... a LOT. The air is constantly full of smoke coming from her pipe ^^U She reminds me of the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. She also drinks tons of alcohol.

She makes wishes come true, in exchange of something precious, but sometimes she can't do anything if the client doesn't cooperate. She maybe created Maru and Moro, her twin companions girls, but we don't know it yet for sure. She took advantage of Watanuki and forced him to work in the store, before granting him his wish... perhaps she needs a maid or she's fond of that naive boy... who knows.

She knew another magician called Clow Read (the guy who created the Clow Cards, Keroberos and Yue in Card Captor Sakura); Yuuko admited that he was really talented and powerful, but his pal was, and I quote, "a pain in the ass". They both created Mokona Modoki. She's famous in other dimensions, and people from different worlds have gone to the store, so that makes us think (especially if you have read Tsubasa also) that this woman has amazing powers and may be important.
